Winter Calm
This piece is a true study in contrasts. The bright sky and snow are gorgeous against the dark trees and brook. The scene is obviously a crisp, cold winter morning, yet the warm sun makes everything feel cozy and hospitable. I especially loved creating the shadows that dance across the snow!
